A collection of personal defense mechanisms during a period of introversion and isolation. Inspired by the 'Eight Pillars of Euphoria' from Richard Linklater’s early script, these eight standalone vignettes document the deliberate detachment, insouciance, and passive resistance against reality.

Sylvia Plath has been a continuous undertow throughout this project, leading me to experiment with incorporating her verses through an editorial approach. By collaging her raw, anatomical text directly with the graphics, it creates a dialogue of intertextuality—where the poetry acts as a structural element that fractures and redefines the image.
